Cooking and Preparation

Cooking

Boil 6 kg or 6L of water. Add 1 kg of sago and mix gradually until the sago floats. Cover and continue cooking in medium fire for 25 minutes. Turn heat off and let is set without removing the cover for 25 minutes. Wait and check sago for desired chewiness and consistency.

Preparation and Storage

Strain and rinse sago under running water. Drain excess water and add 1-2 cups or 375-700g of refined sugar or syrup. Adjust to your desired taste. Store in syrup and consume within 12 hours for maximum freshness.

Consumption

Our fresh tapioca maintains its softness at room temperature, and gets chewier in cold water. We recommend consuming within 12 hours for maximum freshness and the best taste!
